Operations Manager
Marianne is the Administrative and Financial Coordinator at the Quixote Center. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Washington, DC to pursue her graduate studies, completing an M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and an M.A. in Teaching at American University. In 2003, she travelled to Iraq in opposition to the war with the group Academics for Peace. Marianne has taught social studies in a DC public High School and on a Fulbright Teacher Exchange in Barranquilla, Colombia. She then worked in the non-profit world before taking time off to have her two kiddos. She is happy to now be at the Quixote Center.
