Commission of Truth installed today in Honduras

Monday, June 28th one year after the coup d’état, the Commission of Truth will be installed in Honduras. The Commission is an initiative of the human rights community and people of Honduras who are committed to making sure that the truth is told about those responsible for the coup d’état and the torrent of human rights abuses unleashed in its aftermath.

Just released letter to Clinton from 27 Congresspeople

Hot off the presses, there's a new letter just out to Sec. of State Hillary Clinton on human rights violations in Honduras. It comes from 27 US congressmen who, contrary to the Secretary's statements in Lima earlier this month, maintain that "political violence continues to wrack Honduras" one year after the June 28, 2009 coup.
