Join the Caravan for Peace

Victims of Mexico’s drug war have been sharing their stories as part of the Caravan for Peace for nearly a month now. The Caravan has travelled across the United States to spread the message that the war on drugs is a failed strategy, and the stories from those who have lost loved ones to the violence illustrate that point in a powerful way. Now Javier Sicilia and the Caravan are in Washington D.C. and they need your support. The Quixote Center is a national co-sponsor of the Caravan, and we hope that those of you living in or near Washington can attend some of the events Tuesday and Wednesday.

Below is a schedule of events published by the Latin America Working Group. Please join us as we welcome the Caravan for Peace, and help spread the word about these events, especially the closing march and vigil on Wednesday.
